Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I choose you over any other carpet cleaner?

CHOICE is the key word here. I will be the only one to give it to you. I am the only one who will allow you to "test drive" my services before you ever agree to use them. And I am the only one who will guarantee them 100%. In short, if you don't like what I do, then you don't pay for it...period!

How long should I wait before walking on the carpet after cleaning?

Preferably, you will want to wait until they are completely dry in a few hours. However, in many cases your carpets will be 90-100% dry before we walk out the door.

My friends say I should wait as long as possible before cleaning my carpets. Why shouldn't I listen to them?

The truth of the matter is that is an old teaching based on 1980's technology when leaving residual cleaning solution in the carpet was a common occurrence. Todays technology has greatly improved so that we can get all residual cleaners out of the carpet. Leaving dirt in the carpet over a long period of time not only affects the longevity of your 3rd largest investment in your home (unless you have lots of wood and tile) next to your car, and the home itself, but it also plays a major role in the health of your family.

Are you a "green" cleaner?

Put simply, YES. However, there is a bit more to that answer than that. I am a green cleaner in that I remove all residues from your home and I dispose of it properly. However, when it comes to the use of the actual "green" cleaning agents, I do not use them and here's why...

  1. Green cleaners are not sufficient for restorative cleaning situations. A Restorative cleaning is defined, by Image Cleaning Systems, as a very thorough cleaning that removes residues, dirt, and grime that build up in the backing of your carpet. Thereby eliminating most traffic lanes, furniture lines, and other unhealthy conditions from the home or office.
  2. Green cleaning technology hasn't caught up to the media hype that has made this a front and center issue in our society. It is NOT a cure all.
